Just because she’s a fan doesn’t mean Wendy Williams won’t have a few unsavory words for you.
The outspoken talk show host was met with a chorus of boo’s from her TV audience this week when she announced that although she was a Beyonce fan, she’d only be watching the pop diva’s upcoming HBO documentary with the closed captioning on.
“I am a Beyonce fan. I’m gonna watch her upcoming documentary, because fortunately one of the TVs in our kitchen has closed captioning, so I’ll be able to understand what she says,” said Williams.
“You know Beyonce can’t talk. She sounds like she has a fifth grade education.”
Ouch!
The talk show queen quickly got defensive when her audience responded with a chorus of boos. “Excuse me, I just said I was a fan,” she said. “But we have to call a spade a spade.”
Beyonce’s new documentary special will air February 16, 2013 on HBO.
