Former President Barack Obama is known for busting a move or two, but in the trailer for David Letterman's new Netflix series, he reveals that he showed his dance moves to the one and only Prince at a White House party.
"I have dad moves," Obama says on Letterman's My Guest Needs No Introduction, premiering Friday, Jan. 12.
"This was probably three or four months before he died," Obama says about the late icon, adding that Prince pulled daughter Sasha on stage to dance with him. "Then Sasha pulls me up, which surprises me because she always mocks my dancing."
But he didn't embarrass his teen daughter, telling Letterman that the secret to remaining cool was to "stay in the pocket."
"Dads who get out of the pocket, they're trying stuff they can't really pull off. And they start doing karate kicks and all kinds of stuff," Obama says as Letterman chuckles. "Is that one of the things you do," he asks the former late night host.
Letterman's anticipated series will also feature interviews with JAY-Z, Tina Fey and Malala Yousafzai. Watch a portion of Obama's interview, above.
