Kayden Kinckle is a two-year-old boy from Engelwood, New Jersey who happens to have an illness that cost him a leg and foot, but he wants everyone to know he’s got it.

In a heartwarming video posted by his mother Nikki, Kayden takes his first steps with his prosthetic leg. The determined little man doesn’t give up until he is walking at a steady pace exclaiming, “I got it!”

Kayden was born with a birth defect called Omahalocele, which means his intestines and other organs were born outside his body. During his mother’s pregnancy, the umbilical cord was wrapped around his legs and feet which also caused some deformities. After undergoing two abdominal surgeries Kayden had his right foot and left leg amputated in January. The video captures the toddler’s first time walking on his own.
