Bad news for actress Vanessa L. Williams: Her freshman ABC thriller series 666 Park Avenue has just been cancelled, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The evening soap, which premiered this fall, airs on Sunday nights. The network had high hopes for the drama, about a New York City apartment building possessed by the devil, to appeal to the 18-49 demographic, but it failed to deliver.

The show will end after just 13 episodes and has averaged just 5 million viewers per episode. Williams plays Olivia Duran, the rich wife of a sinister landlord who frequently makes deals with the devil. Williams most recently starred on ABC’s other smash hit, Desperate Housewives, which ended it’s eight-year run for good last spring.
