A lot of celebs celebrated alongside the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night following their big win in Game 7 of the NBA Finals securing the first championship in team history but some can argue that no one was more excited than Usher.

The Grammy award-winning chart topper happens to have purchased a small stake in the team a decade ago and couldn’t be happier for the Cavs in their recent feat.

You may be the only person left who believes in you, but it's enough. It takes just one star to pierce a universe of darkness. Never give up. Congrats King James, you earned it… #NoLimit

The singer couldn’t help but chronicle his excitement via Snapchat and Instagram and has opened up in the past about making the financial investment to secure his legacy outside of the music booth.

“I know I have the talent to entertain,” the singer told Forbes magazine in 2005, not long after he acquired the stake in the team. “Now I just want to be a great businessman.”
