Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the Virginia couple that crashed the White House state dinner last week, are set to speak in their first interview today with Matt Lauer on NBC’s “Today.” An NBC representative said, “no money changed hands,” for the sit down, although there have been reports that the couple was seeking a large paycheck for interviews.

Apparently the White House stunt was not the first time the Salahi’s have snuck into a high profile event. The two also wiggled into a recent Congressional Black Caucus Dinner, where President Obama spoke.

A U.S. Congressional panel has summoned the Salahis to appear at a hearing. However, the couple is not required to attend.

Catch up with the story of the White House Crashers.
