Etta James’ health continues to decline. According to her son, Donto James, she’s under sedation. The “At Last” singer is in the final stages of incurable leukemia and is also suffering from dementia and Hepatitis C.

FOX News is reporting that James will remain in a Riverside, California hospital until a doctor can determine if she can go home. Donto says his mother won’t give up. “She is still fighting. That’s the thing, my mother is still fighting.”

Just days before Christmas, she was taken to the hospital with breathing problems. James’ manager, Lupe De-Leon, described her condition as “pretty bad.”

In other Etta James news, a California judge ruled that James’ husband since 1969, Artis Mills, will remain conservator of her million-dollar estate.
