After months of speculation, sources tell TMZ that Michael Jackson’s former physician Dr. Conrad Murray will be officially charged as early as next week. Law enforcement sources say that Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley and members of his office have recently met to discuss charging the embattled Dr. Murray with involuntary manslaughter. David Walgren, the deputy DA has been working closely with the LAPD and is said to be “intimately familiar” with the case, which he has presented to Cooley. Dr. Murray has admitted to administering the powerful anesthetic Propofol hours before Jackson’s death. With an involuntary manslaughter charge the DA’s office needs to prove that Dr. Murray is guilty of gross negligence but did not mean harm. Neither Dr. Murray nor the Jackson family have released a statement about the latest developments in the case.
