Tyra Banks Loses Her Hair While Writing 'Modelland'

Tyra Banks is a jack of all trades. As a supermodel, talk show host, and creator of “America’s Next Top Model,” Banks knows a lot about stress. But it seems nothing has taken a toll on her as much as writing her new book, “Modelland.”

The supermodel revealed to the Wall Street Journal that the stress of writing her new book, “Modelland,” had her hair falling out.

“I was staying in Lake Como shooting ‘Top Model’ and I was working on it in the off days. It was a passion, so the discipline wasn’t hard. It was finding the time that was hard, and that was stressing me out and I felt the product was suffering.” Banks goes on to say, “How can I say this without tearing up? I got a little alopecia from the stress.”

But it seems like the stress was worth it because “Modelland” is now a New York Times best seller!
