There may be a recession but that’s not stopping Tyler Perry’s 34th Street Films from investing in its next movie. The studio just announced it has purchased a yet to be named feature whose plot is being kept under tight wraps. 34th Street Films was formed in September 2008 as a subsidiary of Tyler Perry Studios to produce projects under the Tyler Perry umbrella with a focus on expanding his ever growing brand of projects written and directed by outside talent.—WLW
