A low-maintenance cut like this layered bob keeps its shape as it grows out. After shampooing and blow-drying, O’Kieffe straightened the hair with a flat iron. “You can rock this great cut many ways—conservatively, with smooth curls, or in a soft low ponytail,” she says.
After cutting damaged ends into light layers, stylist Heather O’Kieffe of the Time Salon in Brooklyn added big waves with a large curling iron. You can also achieve this look by setting hair on large rollers.
