It’s been a little more than a month since Trayvon Martin’s death made national headlines. And the world has heard from everyone but his older brother, Jahvaris Fulton (R). According to People, Fulton was away at Florida International University when his mom, Sybrina Fulton (L), told him the tragic news.
“We were like best friends,” he said. “During the beginning stages of this ordeal, I’d go online to see what people were saying. A lot of the content was really bad. It was hurtful. People can say whatever they want to say about a person they do not know.”
The 21-year-old maintains that the people who knew him best, his family, knew he was a good person. “He had a good head on his shoulders. He wanted to go to college,” Fulton shared.
As for George Zimmerman, the information technology student would like to ask him a few questions. Fulton tells People he wants Zimmerman to share what happened. “I want answers. I want his side of the story,” he said. “Why didn’t he just wait for the police like he was told?”
Above all, he’ll miss Trayvon. Fulton says he’ll miss his kid brother whom he always argued with, but will continue to think of him as a giving person. “He really loved his life. And now I can’t believe he’s gone.”Share :
