Tracy Morgan should be thanking his lucky stars he has a generous ex-girlfriend. While on the red carpet of the 2011 SAG Awards last night, Morgan revealed that Tanisha Hall, his ex-girlfriend, donated a kidney to him in December.
“I’d like to thank Tanisha for donating my kidney to me, ” said the “30 Rock” funnyman to E!. The two became a couple after Morgan divorced his first wife Sabina in 2009.
Oddly enough, Hall was not Morgan’s date to the night’s ceremony — the two recently ended their relationship. Either way, Morgan must have it made — he got a kidney from an ex-girlfriend and took another beauty to the SAG awards. Being sick never looked so good, right?
