Clifford ‘Tip’ Harris and then girlfriend Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle have been together since 2001. They have two sons together and four children (combined) from previous relationships.
“I’m all smiles right now 😉 my hubby was so worth the wait! Um um Good to me.. He’s back & better than ever,” tweeted Tiny, shortly after T.I.’s release from prison.
“[I] can’t say enough about how special of a woman I have. It takes a lot to endure the worst of times and still stay grounded during the best of times,” T.I. wrote in a love letter to Tiny from prison.
“He is very over protective but — he’s also very loving and very into me,” Tiny has said of T.I., whom she refers to as Tip.
T.I. has credited Tiny with helping to nurture his career in the beginning. The couple celebrate T.I.’s 2009 Grammy win for “Swagga Like Us,” a collaboration with Jay-z, Kanye West and M.I.A.
T.I. and Tiny share some family time with their children during as he prepared to head to prison for federal weapons charges in 2008.
“I just can’t complain that I have a man that really wants me around all the time because normally it’s the opposite,” Tiny has said of her husband, T.I.
The couple’s bond is solid as a rock as they cuddle close at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.
The couple lost what would have been their first daughter together in 2009. Baby Leyah Amore was born stillborn. T.I. spent the hours after the birth in the hospital room with their baby, Cottle told ESSENCE.

“There is so much love between us it’s ridiculous, and we like [spending] time together,” Tiny told ESSENCE.com. “The things that people say and write about us doesn’t bother me.”
