Tina Knowles Lawson is a smart businesswoman with lovely curls that most women would die for. Last week on Instagram, Beyonce’s mom explained that her curls are often a frizzy mess after experiencing wind-blown hair on a boat. Unfortunately, frizz happens to all of us, but to salvage her style, Knowles Lawson enlisted the help of her stylist Neil, who used a curly wand to bring back her curly strands.
In the first video she explains while Neil works on her hair in the background, “People have been asking me how I got the naturally curly look. My hair is naturally curly, and I went on a boat last night … I washed it and it curled up, and Neil put a few curls in it to define it.”
The next video is of her with the finished look and she exclaims, “Finished product! See how pretty!” Ms. Knowles is fighting the massive humidity in Miami as she accompanies Beyoncé for the first night of her Formation Tour.
