Tia Mowry has a hit on her hands!

Her Nickelodeon comedy, Instant Mom, is renewed for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Not only that, the network is ordering six additional episodes to its existing season—bringing the show’s episode count to 26.

The comedy, co-starring Sheryl Lee Ralph, Michael Boatman, Sydney Park, Tylen Williams and Damarr Calhoun, has received positive reviews and ratings since its September debut. The network reports that each episode averages about 1.2 million viewers.

“In just a couple months since its debut, Instant Mom has resonated remarkably well with the Nick at Nite and NickMom audiences,” said Nickelodeon president of development and production Russell Hicks. “We’re thrilled to witness its early success alongside See Dad Run and families enthusiastic about Tia and an undeniable charismatic cast.”
