The Voice contestants Toia Jones and DaNica Shirey battled it out last night, singing Beyoncé’s “Halo.”
As judge Adam Levine put it, the two divas from Team Pharrell “slayed the dragon” because “doing a Beyoncé song is literally like trying to slay a dragon.”
Pharrell ended up choosing Shirey to continue being on his team. Levine stole Jones for his own team after Pharrell let her go.
