Here’s what’s haute in today’s Blay Report: Was an Australian editor fired for putting Naomi Campbell on the cover? That’s what the beauty claims in a recent interview. Although she refused to name the journalist, she revealed that her bosses were unhappy with a model of color on the cover. “The editor-in-chief of a magazine there told me she got fired for putting me on the cover.” [Telegraph] It seems as though designer Tracey Feith is missing. The celebrated surfer-turned-designer whose pieces have been sold in Target and worn by the First Lady apparently owes over $200 to landlords and has shuttered his stores and website. [Fashionista] Olivier Theyskens has been named the new Artistic Director at Theory. It’s an unexpected move for the design genius who has previously designed for luxury brands like Nina Ricci and Rochas. [WWD] Kate Moss is designing her last collection for British retail brand, Top Shop. After 14 collections over the last few years, she’s ending her partnership. The clothes will be available in stores on November 2nd. [Fashionista]
