It’s been a rough month for actor Terrence Howard. First, he was booted from the cast of “Iron Man 2” after learning that his role was given to “Crash” costar Don Cheadle, and now he’s been accused of assault, reports the New York Post.
Tex Allen, a jazz pianist and brother of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” director Debbie Allen, claims the Oscar-nominated star beat him up last winter while working together in the Broadway play. The composer is asking for $5 million in damages from the actor. The suit said Howard punched him repeatedly in the face and head, reports the Post. However, the lawsuit does not state the specific reason for the alleged dispute.
