Teddy Pendergrass to be Laid to Rest
Legendary R&B singer, Teddy Pendergrass, will be laid to rest on Saturday. Services will be held at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in his native Philadelphia.

Legendary R&B singer, Teddy Pendergrass, will be laid to rest on Saturday. Services will be held at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in his native Philadelphia. A public viewing will take place today, from noon to 8pm. A private viewing for invited guests and family is scheduled for tomorrow morning, followed by a memorial. Beloved for his slow jams including “Love TKO,” “Close the Door” and “Turn off the Lights,” Pendergrass was also an inspiration to many through his charitable work with the Teddy Pendergrass Alliance and the National Spinal Cord Injury Association.
