It looks like another round of “Isn’t She Lovely” is in order.
Stevie Wonder and his girlfriend, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy, are celebrating the birth of their daughter, Nia, who is the ninth child for the legendary singer (his second with Bracy). Wonder’s rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly.
It was only last month that 64-year-old Wonder told the hosts of The View that he was going to be a nine-time daddy. Rumors were spreading that Bracy was expecting triplets. However, Wonder was quick to quash that rumor.
“I got, how many, 22 kids?” he later joked, addressing the rumors. “It’s not true. The truth is we’re going to have a wonderful daughter, born in December, [and her] name is going to be Nia, which is ‘purpose.'”
