Steve Harvey takes his mentoring program for young men to NYC.
While his wife, Majorie, gears up for another Girls Who Rule the World mentoring weekend, Steve Harvey is planning his own youth initiative for the first time in New York City on October 7-9th.
The initiative — which aims to teach life and career skills to young men ages 13-18, will roll into New York City’s Javits Center for three days. Attendees will enjoy panels on manhood and career-building, as well as a suit fitting, chess challenge, and a town hall meeting on healthy living with 100 participants.

“All the young men who are attending this camp come from homes without fathers,” Steve Harvey explained in a press release. “If we can reach them and provide them with options to achieve, then this weekend will be a success not just for them, but for future generations.”
Way to give back to the kids, Steve — keep it up!
