Today’s topic: I need to party! Dear Shirley and Steve, I am a 19-year-old female with a 29-year-old man. We’ve been together for 7 months and we just got an apartment together. He’s been divorced and has 3 younger kids. On the other hand, before I met him I was stripping at a club. He met me there and we started dating, and when it got serious he asked me to choose him or the club. So I changed my lifestyle around and chose him. My Issue is that I still want to have fun. I’m in college now and I told him I want to go out to clubs (not strip clubs) and parties and have fun. When he was my age he did all of that, so why can’t I do the same thing? I know I’m in a relationship and I can control myself but can I go out to college parties and clubs? What should I do?
