Every day we feature the beloved “Strawberry Letter” franchise that is so popular on “The Steve Harvey Morning Show,” heard nationwide. Send in your letters and Shirley Strawberry will dish out the necessary advice. Today’s topic: In love with child Good Morning Steve and the crew, Let me start off my clarifying the title. I am a 30-year-old woman in love with a man and I have a child. I have been dating my fianc for two years. We have been engaged for seven months. I am very much in love with him and I am confident that he loves me and wants to be there for my 13-year-old son. But with every relationship there are ups and downs. My fianc is so difficult to deal with sometimes. He is not the most outgoing or friendly guy. Sometimes I am not even sure what to say to him because it may piss him off. For example: I asked him the other day if he was comfortable while he was at my house (Yes, we live separately.) I asked because he locks his wallet and keys up in his brief case more often than not. I promise you I didn’t ask in an aggressive manner or anything like that ( I was just curious.), but this sparked a day-long argument. He told me to stop asking him so many questions. I am always shocked at the arguments we have and I can’t quite figure him out. I know relationships are perfect but should this be happening? I am so in love with him but more importantly, I want my son to have a positive male role model in his life, which makes my decision to leave or stay so difficult. Please provide some advice, morning crew. Signed, In love with a man that is difficult to love
