Today’s topic: Be a man Dear Morning Crew, I am a 28-year-old single mother of one. I have an MBA in Finance and a Law degree. For the past four years, I have been dating a man with the hope that he would learn to be a man on his own. He is 32, a virgin, who doesn’t drink, smoke, or curse. He is pretty much a straight arrow, except for the fact he allows his parents to take care of everything. His parents bought his house, his mother cooks for him and does his laundry, as well as swings by everyday to straighten up his house. He swears it’s because he is Italian. I have laid down my expectations and each time he doesn’t follow through within the time frame that I allot him. He gives me the reason that this is his first relationship and he doesn’t know how to react. Am I wrong? My question is how can I get him to be a man on his own?
