Today’s topic: My lying husband gave me an STD Hello Steve, Shirley, Carla and Nephew Tommy, My question is very simple. It’s aimed at the liar (my husband). We have been married for about 20 years. We have five beautiful children. While I was pregnant with my second son, I was diagnosed with an STD! Yes, I said it, an S-T-D! When you go for the initial prenatal visit, they do a procedure, which is called a pap smear. This is done to check for any abnormalities with you or the fetus. Well, my GYN called me back to the office with urgency and I was so distraught because of the concern in her voice. My has-been went along, because he too was concerned. When we entered the office, my GYN flat out told me that I had gonorrhea. I immediately turned and asked my husband, “How in the hell did I get the G-word?” He didn’t answer me at all. When he did, he said very stupidly, and I quote, “I dunno.” The bottom line is, all this time, he has denied being with someone else. My simple question is this: I looked directly into his face and said, “If the shoe was on the other foot and you caught something from me, and you asked me about it, and I had responded the same way you did, would you believe me?” Am I right to leave his ass or what? My bags are already packed!
