Back to school season is quickly approaching and STATE Bags is stepping in to make preparing for the new school year a bit easier for students in need.
Through their #GiveBackPack campaign, the Brooklyn-based company hosts a bag-drop to gift young students with necessities to kick off a successful year.
This time, STATE Bags headed to The Children’s Aid Society in Harlem, NY to host the event, providing fully-stocked backpacks.
Held in partnership with retailer Shopbop and with support from actress Jamie Chung, the bag drop was a huge success.
Chung took to Instagram to show her support and gave a quick glimpse at just how many young people were able to benefit from the initiative.
Founded in 2013, STATE Bags is the brainchild of Jacq and Scot Tatelman. For each bag sold, one is donated to an American child facing challenging circumstances. Having already partnered with Beyoncé’s #BeyGOOD charity, The Honest Company and Twitter, STATE Bags are well on their way to making a huge impact on today’s youth.
