Police in St. Louis are investigating whether the deaths of three Black women, who were all in their early 20s and murdered within one mile of each other, are somehow linked.

Authorities found of the body of 23-year-old Laura Green yesterday morning under an interstate overpass. She appeared to have died from gunshot wounds to her head and shoulders.

Green’s body was found just hours after the bodies of 21-year-old Ce’Onta Cretter and an unidentified 23-year-old, both of whom had suffered gunshot wounds, were found on a nearby residential block. Police say that Cretter was discovered sitting in car, and the other victim was found dead on the porch of a nearby house.

No arrests have been made in any of the murders.
