Actress Uzo Aduba asked her prom date to be her date for last night’s SAG awards. After taking home a trophy for best comedic TV actress for her role as Crazy Eyes in Orange Is The New Black, and blowing the audience away with her moving acceptance speech, Aduba shared the backstory behind her date for the evening, and one seriously adorable then-and-now mash up.
“He asked me to the prom, I said yes. I asked him to SAGs, he said yes. #sagawards” wrote Aduba.
Is romance in the air? Or are two old friends just supporting each other when it counts?
