SNL's 'Black Jeopardy' Spoof: Funny, or Flat?

Saturday Night Live debuts "Black Jeopardy!" and many debate on whether the steroetypical spoof is offensive or harmless.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of iconic game show Jeopardy, Saturday Night Live debuted a skit called “Black Jeopardy!” featuring cast members Kenan Thompson as Darnell Hayes aka Alex Treblack, Jay Pharaoh, Sasheer Zamata and this week’s host, comedian Louis C.K., as Mark, an African American Studies professor who is a bit in over his head.

Stereotypical jests, like time running out because “Black Jeopardy!” begins late, or categories like “It’s Been A Minute,” Psssh!” and “Had That Been Me” has some viewers crying foul and wondering, “Are they laughing with us or at us?”

Take a look at the spoof and let us know what you think. Was it funny, or did it fall flat?
