As World AIDS Day comes to the forefront of everyone’s mind tomorrow, actress Sheryl Lee Ralph is working hard to spread the important message of HIV/AIDS awareness through her DIVAS Simply Singing concert.
The 22nd annual benefit concert boasts itself as the longest, consecutive running musical AIDS benefit concert in the country. This year’s all-star line up will see the likes of Oleta Adams, Faith Evans, A’ngela Winbush, Tramaine Hawkins, Lala Hathaway, Jenifer Lewis, Kristina DeBarge and the Hill Sisters. Honorary Divo, El DeBarge, is set to pay tribute to the night’s stellar women.
Notable actors and actresses Angela Bassett, Rolonda Watts, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Flex Alexander and MC Lyte will present at the charity event.
The concert is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. at Los Angeles’ Club Nokia L.A. Live.
