Shepherd joins Steve Harvey and ESSENCE Magazine as they team up for a chance to help teens, aged 13-19, pursue their dreams at the academy. “I’m passionate about this because Disney is taking 100 kids, flying them in with their parent or guardian for a four-day all-expense paid trip to Disneyworld,” Shepherd told an Atlanta TV station. The three-day academy aims to inspire teens to find their passion and fulfill their dreams through motivational seminars and interactive workshops with celebrity mentors and career coaches.
