The trash-talking, weave-yanking, Louboutin-throwing drama that is synonymous with “Basketball Wives” is not what its creator Shaunie O’Neal signed up for.

After recently voicing her dislike about the L.A. “Basketball Wives” cast, Shaunie is speaking out against the direction of the show.

“I feel like that show is turning into ‘I have slept with a basketball player at some point in my life, so now I’m on Basketball Wives,” she told FOX News. “That’s definitely not what I brought to the table and not what I would be proud of having my name on.”

The former basketball wife says she intended for show to highlight the bond between women who understood what it was like to be married to an athlete. While her brainchild may be out of control, she hasn’t given up total hope of turning things around.

“I hate that it has to be a fight or an argument that gives us 4.2 million viewers,” she said. “I’m working as hard as I can to show some type of balance. We do know how to act.”
