Serena Williams lost during a disappointing Final round of the US Open against Aussie competitor Samantha Stosur.
Williams, a winner of 13 Grand Slams, was a clear favorite to take the women’s trophy, but unfortunately all that may be remembered from the match was her tirade directed at the line coach.
In the first game of the second set, Williams fired off a strong forehand and before Stour could hit it, Williams screamed “Come on!” The umpire declared the outburst a code violation and charged a point penalty against Williams.

Williams debated the controversial call, then lost her cool: “Are you the one who screwed me over last time? Yeah, you are.” She was referring to another line judge from 2004.
According to the L.A. Times, Williams continued by saying: “What a loser, you’re a hater… A code violation because I expressed who I am? Really. Don’t even look at me. I promise you, don’t look at me.… Don’t look my way. If you ever see me walking down the hall, walk the other way.”
