While most of us are still recovering from Obama fever, there are a few who have a bit of cynicism regarding the first Black Commander-in-Chief. Groundbreaking artist and “The Boondocks” creator Aaron McGruder shared his thoughts about the new President during a speech commemorating Martin Luther King, Jr. at Earlham College in Indiana, according to The Washington Post. Just one day before the Inauguration festivities, McGruder sounded off on his belief that President Obama is not Black, which according to McGruder, requires be a descendent of slaves.
“The person who is one of us in the White House is Michelle Obama and her momma,” said the cartoonist.-BB
