You’ll want to plunge into the tropical waters of Tahiti wearing Issa Resort 2010 designs that were showcased at the Standard Hotel in the Meat Packing District of New York City. Brazilian designer Daniella Helayel sketched a collection that was inspired by the Tahitian warm climate to create Issa Holiday for the woman who loves lavish yet versatile apparel. Our favourite pieces were the jersey dresses, the perfect material when it comes to packing, partying and perusing exotic locations. The collection was packed with sexy maxi dresses infused with bold vibrant prints, embellished kaftans, sexy cover ups and, of course, bikini’s for chic splish-splash fun.

Celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson and his fab team from the Ted Gibson Salon New York were on the scene prepping models with beach-friendly hairstyles that complemented the collection brilliantly. Gibson went for effortless beauty creating a low-slung twisted bun allowing the models to give off an easy breezy, beautiful, bold vibe.
