Ruben and Zuri share a moment after their wedding ceremony.
“My father walked me down the aisle and was talking to me the whole time,” says Zuri. “ I was just trying to look at Ruben and see his expression. It didn’t feel real until that very moment.”

The love birds exit Canterbury United Methodist Church in Mountain Brook, Alabama, as husband and wife.
To go along with their wedding colors, the couple enjoyed a four tier white cake with black satin ribbon around the base of each layer, topped off with a Swarovski “S.”
Ruben and Zuri get down on the dance floor in a sea of nearly 400 guests.
When Ruben popped the question, Zuri thought, “Wow! I was just really happy and in shock. It was a total, complete surprise.”
