At the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 show in Paris this weekend, models like Joan Smalls (left) stormed the catwalk sporting tough girl, Joan Jett-meets-Tina Turner mohawk wigs… “Wigs are a fun way to mix up your look, ” says Guido, Redken Creative Consultant and head hairstylist at the show. “The key is to bring [the wig] into a salon and have your stylist cut/trim it to fit your face. That’s what we did at Gaultier!” After trimming the wigs to flatter each model’s face, Guido perfected the rock ‘n roll spikes by rubbing Redken Structure Wax on the ends and piecing it out. So hot! We’re sure Rihanna’s taking notes…
