The British pop singer recently joined designer Rachel Roy as one of the women suspected of being the real-life “Becky with the good hair” referenced on Beyoncé’s new album, Lemonade.
The now-infamous lyrics from Beyonce’s song “Sorry” first drove a merciless BeyHive to attack Roy over social media. She eventually defended herself in a statement to PEOPLE: “I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that,” she said. “There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors,” she said.

But it didn’t end there.
As speculation surrounding Roy’s connection to the lyrics began to die down, the BeyHive detectives turned their attention to Rita Ora. The singer, who has been signed to Roc Nation since 2008, is reportedly in the process of leaving the label. Despite her affiliation with the couple and heavy speculation from fans, Ora says she’s not the woman in question either.
She took to her Twitter page to shoot down the rumors.
