UPDATE: Watch Rihanna On Oprah
For Barbadian singer Rihanna, the natural disaster that has devastated Haiti has hit close to home. She's teaming up with Oprah to make a difference for the Haitian people, dismantled by the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that hit the island nation last week.
Rihanna appeared on Oprah yesterday singing her own version of Bob
Marley's "Redemption Song" and is making that performance available for
purchase on iTunes with proceeds from the track going toward the
Haitian relief effort through the Red Cross, UNICEF, Oxfam America and
Partners In Health. To buy the song, log on Rihannanow.com or Oprah.com.
It's great to see that Rihanna is doing her part to help her fellow Caribbeans in this time of crisis.
