The United States will not join the United Nation’s discussion on racism next month unless all references to Israel and criticism of religion are taken out of the program, according to the Associated Press. American and Israeli representatives left in the middle of the first installment of the conference in 2001, after the Middle Eastern country was called out as racist for seeking to create a Jewish state. Canada and Israel have already publicly declared their boycott of the World Conference Against Racism that will be held in Geneva. —CJ
