Wedding bells for one member of the Queer Eye crew will soon be ringing.
Everyone’s favorite culture guru from the hit Netflix show, Karamo Brown, announced on Instagram Thursday morning that he and director Ian Jordan are engaged.
“Last night, in front of family & friends, I asked my best friend and the love of my life, “will you marry me?” He said YESSS!!!! I’m engaged! Showing off our beautiful @davidyurmanmen rings. #LoveWins @theianjordan,” he wrote.
The big moment happened at Jordan’s surprise 40th birthday party in West Hollywood, California with Brown getting down on one knee to pop the question; he called his partner, the “kindest man” he knows.
“You are the funniest man I know, the kindest man, my biggest cheerleader,” the reality star said in the proposal as reported by Entertainment Tonight. “You made me feel like I could do anything.”
Brown and Jordan have been together for eight years.
Prior to the party, the father of two took to Instagram to write a message full of love for his beau.
“Happy birthday to the love of my life @theianjordan! I love you because of your heart, your humor but mostly because you don’t mind serving #GlamourShots realness w/ me anytime I ask. I pray today and this year brings you everything your heart desires. #HBD #40ish #TurnUp”
Congratulations to them!
