Prince Jackson tweets he is "really angry and hurt" over the family drama.
Michael Jackson’s children are taking to Twitter to express their frustrations over the current family feud.
“As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways,” Prince Jackson tweeted. “If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth,” he said, signing with Michael Jackson Jr.
Most recently, Katherine Jackson was stripped custody of 15-year-old Prince, 14-year-old Paris and 10-year-old Blanket after returning from a trip to Arizona. Because of her absence, TJ Jackson, the 34-year-old son of Tito, was awarded temporary guardianship.
According to CNN, Prince’s message criticized his aunt and uncles for Katherine’s 10-day absence. “I’m really angry and hurt,” he tweeted. “Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to.”
Prince said waited for the right time to reveal his side of the story, and to prove his case. He included a cell phone screenshot with the Twitter posts. “The following image is a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother,” he wrote.
The image appears to include Janet, Austin and Rebbie Jackson. Prince’s text message read: “This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!!!” It appears that Janet replied with: “Don’t let them pls.”
CNN reports that the message disappeared hours later and Prince questioned if his account had been hacked.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff said that Katherine’s custody was suspended because she may have been “prevented from acting as a guardian because of the acts of third parties.” Sandra Ribera, Katherine’s attorney, says there is reason to believe she was held against her will. Katherine’s attorneys plan to file a petition to restore guardianship.
Conrad Murray, the man charged with Michael’s death, released a statement saying he is aware of the Jackson family drama. “I do not want Mrs. Jackson to suffer. She remains as dear to me as my own mother, unbeknownst to her,” Murray said.” It would give me great pleasure to sit with her one-on-one and answer any questions she might have.”
There’s no word yet if Katherine will take Murray up on his offer, but according to TMZ, LaToya feels the family should keep their disagreements private.
