President Obama is quick to admit when he is wrong. After comparing his bowling skills to the Special Olympics on the “Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on Thursday, Obama immediately called Special Olympics Chairman Tim Shriver to apologize before the show even aired, according to the Associated Press. Shriver was very moved by the President’s apology and felt he was sincere. Shriver is the son of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who is the founder of the Special Olympics and sister of President Kennedy. Obama later offered to have some Special Olympics competitors over to the White House for a game of basketball or bowling.—JW
