Earlier this week, President Obama spoke with South Africa’s President Kgalema Motlanthe. The two leaders shared concerns about the growing poverty situation in Zimbabwe. The President noted that South Africa holds a vital role in assisting other nations like Zimbabwe to find a resolution to the political crisis. The two will meet face-to-face in a few months at the upcoming G-20 Summit in London in April.—WW
