A group of Alabama residents were none too pleased this weekend when they discovered Klu Klux Klan fliers on their lawns urging them to join the organization and vote in the upcoming election.
According to AL.com
, the racist organization targeted the north Alabama city of Madison with materials encouraging residents to become members of the group in opposition to the Black Lives Matter and Black Panther movements. “Please join and help us take our country back,” the flier reads. “Black Lives Matter Black Panthers are telling followers to kill white people and police officers in the name of justice for the killing of Negros be policemen in the line of duty. These Negros were not innocent. They were thugs breaking the law and standing up against police.”

One resident tweeted about the fliers, noting that the message on the reverse side of the memo urged people to get out and vote so white Americans could “take back our country.”
Adding more fuel to this hate-filled fire, the latest issue of the KKK’s official newspaper, The Crusade, features a lengthy write up reiterating their support of Trump for president.
The Trump campaign issued a statement on Tuesday evening, denouncing the KKK’s support shortly after photos of the paper went viral. “Mr. Trump and the campaign denounces hate in any form,” the statement read, according to The Washington Post
. “This publication is repulsive and their views do not represent the tens of millions of Americans who are uniting behind our campaign.”
