The latest look at the polls show that the fate of the White House is truly in the hands of voters.
The 2016 presidential race is nearing the finish line and the last two standing are neck and neck in the states that stand to weigh heavily on the outcome of the election.
According to the latest polling reports from NBC News, Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton and her GOP opponent Donald Trump are “deadlocked” in four battleground states including Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and New Hampshire. Pointing out that the races in all four states remain extremely close, even as of last week, Lee Miringoff of the Marist College Institute of Public opinion says it’s still anyone’s game.

“As we enter the final lap of this very unconventional election, it would not be surprising if the electoral map in the end has new contours,” Miringoff says. “Any of these four states could awaken a fault line in what is looking more and more like a shake-up election with more states being up for grabs.”
While many have assumed that Trump’s widely unfavorable track record of offensive commentary and blatantly prejudice rhetoric on the campaign trail has already turned the election in Clinton’s favor, the latest look at the polls prove that the future of White House leadership ultimately lies in the hands of voters.
And as we all know, the numbers certainly don’t lie.
