At a London launch party for her new perfume, Rihanna showed up wearing a teal top made with ostrich feathers and the People for the Ehtical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are furious.

PETA reps spoke about their concern with her choice of fashion and said the feathers used to create the garment may have been collected cruelly, reports the Daily Mail.

“We keep hoping that Rihanna, a victim of violence herself, will learn to open her heart and start empathising with the suffering of others.” A PETA spokesperson said to the paper.
