Paula Patton recently shared an old photo of herself with ex-husband with no regrets!
Patton took to Instagram to reminiscence on the sweet love she once shared with her ex-husband Robin Thicke.
The Warcraft actress reminded us of the relationship-envy we once had over the former high school sweethearts by sharing a heartwarming message:
“Memories…I always try to only remember what was fun and made me smile. My friend showed me this and it took my breath away. We were babies and we had a beautiful baby. What an amazing time in my life. No regrets! Celebrating this amazing life we get to live never knowing what’s coming next. Love is always the answer. @robinthicke #throwbackthursday”
It’s speaks volumes when you can fondly look at a picture of your ex a year after a divorce. The former couple ended their 10-year marriage in 2015 after their high-profile split made headlines, but the actress revealed that her goal is to find joy in the right now.
“You just keep living your life and have faith that everything sorts itself out. Be patient, I’m learning that later in life it’s like, ‘All in due time,’ and the real goal is to find joy in the right now. Focusing on what I have right now is really good and not be concerned with things I can’t control: How other people see me, what they say, it’s wasted energy for me and it’s never done me any good,” she told PEOPLE.
Paula and Robin met in 1991 when they were both teenagers, were married in 2005, and later welcomed their son Julian in 2010.
