Patti LaBelle paid tribute to musical legend Aretha Franklin on Twitter after the world learned of her passing. With the announcement of the Queen of Soul’s death on Thursday at age 76 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, Labelle released a statement in response to Franklin’s passing. “I am deeply saddened about the passing of the Queen of Soul and my sister in song, Aretha Franklin,” the note read. “Today the world has experienced a tremendous loss.
